That’s the basis of he new campaign “Merino Wool – Made by Nature”, born from the collaboration between two realities of absolute excellence, two protagonists of wool: Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia and The Woolmark Company.
Quality cannot be separated from sustainability, comfort cannot be separated from the well-being of the planet. This partnership aims to raise awareness on market and consumers on the quality of wool as an interpreter of the needs of both fashion and the Planet. A sustainable and eco-friendly fiber in all its processes.

Merino Wool – Made by Nature was officially revealed at Pitti Filati 2022 trade fair in the knitwear yarn sector. Retracing the entire production process from land to garment through video demonstration, the values of sustainability and quality that distinguish Merino wool come to the fore.
The journey begins on the rolling Australian fields of the Lade family farm – Glenrannoch, to the factory of the Italian spinners of Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia with the voice of Production Manager Nicola Mattassoglio, to finally arrive at the studio of exceptional designer Edward Buchanan, Fashion Director of Sansovino 6, who reveals his creative relationship with the unique and special fibre. The video allows viewers an all-encompassing view of the journey of wool from its origin to finished product, with emphasis on sustainability and holistic understanding of the wool supply chain.

An interactive garment tag will be also included on wool garments produced with Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia yarn, which links to the campaign film.
