ZBLB & CKD Master: yarn and future walk on the runway at Pitti 93

28th June 2023, Sala della Ronda at Fortezza da Basso in Florence, 6:00 PM. The spotlight shines on the students’ projects from the Master in Creative Knitwear Design at Accademia Costume & Moda and Modateca Deanna.

The fashion show is the main event of a one-of-a-kind project, a virtuous example of collaboration and exchange for the textile industry and with the textile industry. Thanks to the generosity of over 40 companies in the sector (with ZBLB at the forefront), the links in the chain come together as an opportunity, from the major players to the creative spark of new minds.

The fashion show revealed the 13 capsule collections by the students of the Master, as well as the creations made in collaboration with Max Mara Fashion Group, The North Face, Vitelli and Abraham Industries. With the Final Works and the garments created in collaboration with The North Face in particular, Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia sponsored the CKD Master by providing the yarns that came to life during the event through the ideas and hands of the young designers.

These projects showcased the creativity of the designers, highlighting the exceptional qualities of Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia yarns.

To conclude the fashion show, all the students from the Master in Creative Knitwear Design walked the runway for the first time alongside their own creations. It is the beginning of a bright future in the textile and fashion industry, a future that Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia is proud to encourage and support, starting with emerging talents.
