Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia is among the leading companies as a sponsor of the fourth edition of CirculART 4.0, a project that brings together art, fashion, and sustainability in a journey of research and experimentation within the textile sector.
The initiative began on February 11 in Biella at the Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte, a place where art intertwines with sustainable fashion. A key role is played by 16 outstanding companies, supported by the Material Innovation Lab (MIL) of the Kering Group and Acqua Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to water conservation through art, advocacy, and concrete aid. Together, they have collaborated to bring this edition to life.
Until September, three selected artists and three fashion designers will work closely with leading textile manufacturers to create artworks and garments that embody the values of circularity, transparency, traceability, and responsibility in the fashion world. Thanks to its extensive expertise, ZBLB plays a key role as a technical partner, providing high-quality materials and know-how to actively contribute to the development of a new textile supply chain, where young talents are the driving force behind a mission for a more conscious, innovative, and environmentally respectful world.
As Paolo Naldini, Director of Fondazione Pistoletto Cittadellarte, says:
“The central circle of the Third Paradise symbol represents a space where individuals and organizations from different backgrounds come together to create new forms of living. […] Companies and artists, designers and researchers, communication experts, climatologists, and scientists all working together—the work of an art that takes on the greatest possible responsibility: the one that comes from the greatest freedom. Both freedom and responsibility can no longer remain, as they largely did in the 20th century, personal or individual matters: today, a responsible creative supply chain unites in a circle—or rather: in three circles—the authors of this work.”
CirculART has been active since 2019, aiming to foster an art capable of interacting with fashion through an ethical and innovative approach, addressing crucial issues such as climate change and contributing to the promotion of the United Nations’ SDGs.
Not just aesthetic expression, but art as a tool for reflection and social transformation.
The collaboration between ZBLB and CirculART is an opportunity to enhance the dialogue between art and industry, exploring new solutions capable of redefining the rules of fashion. The project showcases how the textile sector can evolve through collaboration, responsible innovation, and creativity, bringing forth new, more ethical and sustainable models of production and consumption.
Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia is therefore proud to take part in this initiative, leveraging its experience and facilities to support a concrete commitment to the future, investing in young talents and the research of innovative solutions for an ever more sustainable fashion industry.
