ACM Talents 2024: the showcase of future talents

Rome, 16th March 2024. The spotlight turns on the creations of those who achieved the Diploma Accademico di Primo Livello (DAPL) in Costume e Moda: Fashion, Accessories & Costume Design. This is a unique three-year course, strong in its cultural and project preparation; a balance between research, design, and product, in close collaboration with some of the most important companies in the industry. The event on March 16 was proof of this. It is the synthesis of the path devised by Accademia Costume & Moda, which this year celebrates its 60th anniversary and consolidates its position as one of the best training institutes in the world in the field of fashion.

The creations of twenty DAPL students in Costume e Moda walked the runway of the Acquario Romano, and ZBLB was in the front row. The fashion show expressed the meeting point between the sensitivity of emerging talents and the heritage of the major industry players. The vision of the future with the solidity of the past. A mix also expressed by the location. Acquario Romano is a fluid place; it has been the theater of various arts over the centuries, from architecture to cinema, and retains an eclectic and transformative nature. This plurality can also be seen in the Personal Capsule Collections.

During the Fashion Show, the students brought their own personality and vision to the runway. Each of the creations – five per student – is the result of profound research, of the private sphere but also of what stirs in the world. Sustainability, inclusivity, sense of belonging, responsibility are some of the key themes. All this was also possible thanks to the active support of the companies in the industry.

For Zegna Baruffa Lane Borgosesia, the invitation from Accademia Costume & Moda (with which it has an appointment for next year) strengthens the virtuous collaboration between education and profession, it is an opportunity to make craft culture in a new way, open to the contribution of the young protagonists.
